Terms of Service

I. General

- Clients must read and agree to the Terms of Service. By submitting an application the client shows their approval of the Terms.- Clients must be over the age of 18 and able to prove this.- Clients lying about their age to obtain art will be permanently blacklisted.- Commissioned work will be worked on in (roughly) the order it was paid for, though I may work on more than one at a time (and smaller pieces may therefore be completed first).- I will send updates when each stage is completed. “Stages” depend on the type of commission. The client may request appropriate changes at each stage (pose changes must be requested at the sketch stage, etc.).- If no deadline is given I will work to complete your commissioned piece within 2 months of receiving payment, depending on the complexity of the piece, my queue, and other responsibilities. Revisions and highly complex pieces may take additional time.- Clients may NOT alter art made by me, the artist, unless they have received explicit permission from me for an edit (basically, ask me first!).- Clients understand that I retain the copyright to completed pieces unless otherwise established. Clients may NOT produce and sell copies or ownership of the piece, including but not limited to Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs/Cryptoart), other blockchain-related technology, and images created through machine learning (generative AI) using the original piece. I will occasionally use commissioned pieces as examples of my work.- Clients may use their piece for non-commercial/personal purposes (printing, displaying, posting on social media). I do appreciate linking back to my page or crediting me by username (@loquer or @loquercabinet) when posting the piece online.- Clients should not claim that art/designs created by me are their own creations.

II. Cancellations

- A certain percentage of the cost will be nonrefundable on all commissions due to processing fees. The specific amount will depend on the service used (PayPal, etc.).- Payment must be delivered through a PayPal invoice, in USD, unless otherwise established.- If a client requests a refund BEFORE a commission is begun, a full refund (minus processing fees) will be granted. If a client requests a refund after they've been shown a sketch, 50% of the total refundable cost will be granted. If a refund is requested later, I cannot grant a refund.- Please request a refund rather than filing a chargeback. I will get back to you as soon as I can (if I do not contact you within a month’s time of your request, filing a chargeback will not get you blacklisted unless you are ineligible for a refund).- If a client files a chargeback or refund on a commission, the art is no longer theirs. They may not use it or display it anywhere.- I retain the right to cancel a commission for any reason and refund the client.
